Another nice sketch Stephen, as we have both said before, sometime they work out better than a finished piece and they always seem to have that bit if more freshness about them when they are painted in watercolour. Like it and looking forward to seeing more of your work in 2016.

Well done Stephen, and well worth the effort, I did a quickie plein-air oil this afternoon, and I also feel better.

Many thanks Michael, 'a rigger is not the rigueur' good turn of phrase! They do take a bit of handling don't they, stops me fiddling though, like I tend to do with a pencil.

Thanks for your comments Graham, look forward to seeing more of your lovely Scottish images too in the days ahead.

Many thanks Alan, look forward to seeing more of your work.

An amazing painting Stephen :)

Great control of that rigger Stephen!

Many thanks, Maria and Fiona.

Lovely sketch Stephen, as is the rest of your gallery

Lovely work, Stephen. Fresh, immediate and beautifully mellow.

I took one of my all too infrequent brisk walks earlier, ending up in the nearby park. It was empty and I Took a few pics. On return I did this quick w.c. sketch, bravely(for me ) I drew it with a rigger!
