Good perspective and drawing of the building, Stephen. And the limited palette gives a restful feel. I like the foreground bush too. Nice work.

A very nice composition, Stephen. I find the wall works well at drawing one's eye into the picture meeting up with the two figures - good work.

Yes agree with all above.....BUT that massive roof can't be right in terms of the property. Just more observation and accuracy when working this scene would be helpful Stephen, Going good however.

Many thanks Derek, perhaps the photo exaggerated the roof size, we think photos always give a true image but sometimes they don't.

Having read Haidee-Jo Summers article on notan in the Artist mag. I thought I would have a go from an old photo. Not sure I understand it but I enjoyed having a try
