Beautiful expressive sketch.

Many thanks Shirley, it was very enjoyable, sketching in the sun.

The drawing which looks bigger than A6. It is difficult to work out the size of the picture from an online photo. Atmospheric with nice tones. Looks a bit like charcoal but as Stephen says it was done in pencil.

It's a smashing sketch Stephen, it says everything you wanted to say......sunshine, shadows and people taking a walk enjoying it.

These little sketches are always useful when your back in the studio looking for inspiration. This is a nice sketch and the figures are good and give scale to the composition. Well done Stephen.
