Hi Stephen , glad to see you trying acrylic again. Is this on watercolour paper? Try with the cheap canvas panels that you can buy in the highsreet, I find them good, you can paint thick and put a couple of coats of varnish on and finish up with a very pleasing painting.This painting is very nice and I like the tree very much.
