nice painting remembering to include the shadows on the icy river as well as the reflections.You have captured the cold atmosphere well.

Maybe you're right Stephen - about simple paintings and their appeal. But it takes great skill, experience and feeling to pull this off. Simple perhaps, easy certainly not.
