I drew this staffie first of all in graphite pencil, creating a light outline, then filled him in with Alpha brush markers. I love the fact you can blend these pens and from a distance they have an almost watercolour-like effect. I then defined parts of the drawing with Faber-Castell fineliner , to give a little more impact.
