Its difficult to judge this painting as it is the grandson of a close friend. It is also the first time I have tried to paint a child. The features are so finally defined its difficult to capture them. Sorry if this post doubles up on the last one.

It's nerve wracking doing this ( I know ). He looks a little live wire and it's a very attractive portrait. What did his grandpa think?

Thank you Marjorie his Grandma loved it it is going to be a gift for his mother. He came around the house today pointed at the painting laughed and said James. Live wire is one way to describe him lol.
