I think you have done well here Fred, it is difficult to get accepted in open competitions due to many people applying, sometimes they are looking for particular styles etc. I think your figures are really well done, especially the three figures in the centre. The buildings are well drawn too, except for the window next to the drain pipe which is leaning to the right a bit (I am being picky here as you asked). The only other thing that I could suggest is to make the tones more varied, as it's Florence, perhaps you could have more sunight and shadows? Best of luck with future entries.
