Winter Flowers (copy) by Dave Singleton
I bought a decent frame from the local market a couple of weeks ago for £2. I was intending to remove the print and replace it with one of my own pictures - framing on the cheap! However, I was taken by the print of a Parisian street scene called Winter Flowers by Eugene G-Laloue. I had already sketched out a local street scene ready for painting and I wondered if I could do it in the style of Laloue. At Art Group today, I tried to copy the picture in acrylic paint. It was quite detailed but I managed to achieve this in the 2 hours or so available. It is A4 size but I have been unable to discover how big the original was. Anyone any idea?
