I think you have done really well Stan. It isn't easy. I have done it! It was such a strain I had to get my husband to take a photo in the end, looked at photo and mirror! Reminds me of Van Gogh!!! I like the colours you have use for skin tones well done.

Every time I have tried to do this I end up looking very cross. As Jeanette has already said it is very Van Gogh..ish! Such concentration.

I did my thesis on Van Gogh :) yes, there is something in your face expression of Vincent. I believe it is this restless searching for self...You do not look angry Stan, what I see is tension mixed with a little bit of melancholy. I like it; it is very honest portrait.
