Great painting ! Love the colours and composition and the reflections are fabulous

A really attractive painting. The colours and the composition work very well , and as Beverley has said, the reflections are excellent.

Beautiful reflections on the calm water and boats full of character.

A wonderful composition and so well executed. The faint background gives it depth and the reflections are just excellent.

Beautiful......such vibrant colours. Agree with all the other comments too.

A super piece, with lovely light, atmosphere and colors.

photographic quality I love it and the Barbican had a coffee there back in the day keep up the good work

I am so please that you all like this painting, all though it is one of my first acrylics, it is one of my favourites. I have since recognised one of these boats in someone else's paintings of "Sutton Harbour". What a coincidence!

A magnificent acrylic, Linda. Congratulations. Great use of the traditional "blue and brown " combination.

I didn't know about the blue and brown combination. thanks for the tip and comment Alan!

What what what? Missed this one....fabulous! Love the colours.

Thank you Timothy. I was a bit sorry to sell this one as it has strong nostalgic ties for me.

20x16 inches Acrylic on stretched canvas. This was my second acrylic painting.. I did the initial sketch in Biro and discovered that acrylic dies not take over Biro. I covered it up with B&Q primer and started over, first sketching on paper and tracing it off with carbon paper. learning from my mistakes I've used ballpoint in other paintins, where i did want the initial lines to show through. who says that you can't teach old dogs new tricks.
