Water soluble sepia ink. Done with a pen and brush. A photocopy of the picture was rubbed with soft pastel on the reverse and transferred to 370g Canson Technicas Humedas Basik watercolour paper. (Available in Spain). Ink was applied in a very diluted form with a fine pen and a medium watercolor synthetic round brush. In monochrome pen and ink images, special attention must be paid to tonality. This is a very good exercise for beginners as it forces one to carefully examine light and shade.
