Love the effects and colours in this one Sophie. Can I ask how you achieve the perfect, fine lighter lines? I'm guessing gouache but however you've painted them, they certainly look good against the background washes.

Thank you very much everybody. Louise, I lift off the dry paint with a clean wet flat fine brush to reveal the white of the paper underneath. It doesn't work so effectively on all paper but I use bockingford when I want to use this technique.
