1956 Buick Special

Love the detail, and the reflections on the car.

Sue...This really rings bells for me...I emigrated to marry and work in Canada for 6 years in 1956 . What impressed me so much was the colours of the cars compared with our mainly dark hued ones back home! My fiancé met me at Halifax in a Studebaker, and later I ran a Plymouth! Both were black but hubby later bought a sea green Sedan Delivery, and we travelled all over in it with our three dogs!! This is a wonderfully accomplished painting.

I saw this particular car in Havana, one of so many that I would love to paint. They are like flowers, so colourful with big personalities!
