Many thanks everyone - your kind comments are most appreciated. However, I can see that the photo, as posted, appears to be a little blurred (out of focus?); perhaps I could do with improving my photography skills too - ha ha! :-)

I like the painting Martyn, agree with you that the photo is a little blurry. Have had the same problem myself in the past.

Thanks Sandra - I have since found previous forum postings on here regarding to take better photos of artwork, so will be applying that to my future paintings
