Oh YES!!!! What medium do you use Simon?

Thanks, Peter and Fiona. Fiona, this is a mixed, mixed media. It's done on an old piece of card in a pastel, soft then a bit of oil pastel. I think I did a watermedia underpainting. I loved your motorcycle history and you've had some great bikes - and motorcycling tales are never boring. I turn 60 next week and I'm thinking of adding a Royal Enfield to the garage. Now there's one for you, a nice sporty Enfield Clubman. Go on.

Very nice indeed Simon. The first time I saw a Royal Enfield it was in a secondhand/antique shop in Bakewell Derbyshire, it was a 900cc and it was love at first sight. I was a mere seventeen and the very proud owner of a Honda 90...stop laughing....it had two wheels and an engine!lol Along side the R.E. was a James, Matchless 500, Ariel square four and an Indian...ah those were the days. The days when you could identify a bike by it's sound long before you saw it. I think the only bikes I could recognise now are a Ducatti, KTM (which I have always wanted but my legs were too short) and a Harley, but they don't count really do they lol. It's been great chatting about bikes, I hadn't realised how much I miss having one in the garage. Just that smell of motorbikes in the garage when you first walk in....mmmm. PS I could have sworn that I had written this earlier, perhaps I forgot to click on the add comment box. If you've already received this my apologies.

The beauty in engineering and machinery has fascinated me for as long as I can remember. I've had a motorcycle…
