Hi Sian, I like this but I feel that you shine when you do your abstract cubist type interlocking designs like your apple painting. have you tried doing the same with your leaves? Interlock three like you did with different views of the apple. I think you would make a stunning job and it suits your style of painting.

Better or worse? I have changed the background to Colalt blue. Then removed the large light blue 'hole'. Then a green looked too triangular. Then.... then ... then... When do I stop? (17.10.11 I have drawn this sort of thing before but I thought I would try it in acrylic. Wobbly edges and other faults I don't notice in real life appear online ! The holes in the leaves are to remind me of the disease that has hit horsechestnuts this year.)
