Interesting Story Sian, dont get migraine attacks very often (touch wood) Love the picture of your daughter! Nice textures & Colour on the hat & dress!

I think you were right to post it - it's come off well. Bad luck about the migraine; and if it's the first you've had - well, this isn't a medical forum, but I do hope you've consulted the GP!

Hmmm...not sure I should have posted this one. It's a 45 minute proto-type for my next project (which should take me more than 45 minutes!) but I quite like it. Perhaps I'll leave it on until the final version is finished. Actually, it's quite a sad picture because when the photo was taken, both my daughter and I were very excited - she was going off to Paris (hence the hat) and I was flying the very next day to an Alicia Sotherland pastel portraits course in Ireland. Had been looking forward to the course for months because the woman is an incredible artist but I woke up with the first migraine of my life, couldn't see to drive the car, missed the train, missed the flight, missed the course! In a fit of desperation, I cheered myself up by drawing my daughter, who at least did manage to catch her flight, lucky so-and-so.
