Vase of flowers

Lovely painting - full of colour, sun and light. Also nice feeling of immediacy which is fresh and engaging. I really like all your gallery and have picked out a few to comment on.

Thank you Thea, I so much appreciate your comments. I posted these late last night, and then thought maybe I shouldn't have, as I had just been looking through some astoundingly good portfolios. It is such a pleasure to be able to look at other people's work in such an easy way. This site is my best discovery!! I am going to try some acrylics soon as I have a new set of tubes, and some canvases. I have used acrylics and a palette knife in the past, and found that very enjoyable.
