I like the dominance of the tree slightly off centre and the way in which you apply the paint to create such vibrancy and texture.

I like your strong marks - they say a lot more about the reality of nature, in my opinion anyway, than idealized tributes to it.

Spring is sprung. I knew this needed a bit more sparkle.

Always loved drawing and painting. Studied biology at UEA, PGCE at Sussex, then part-time art studies at Sussex and Brighton, including printmaking. Before Covid I gave a little weekly watercolour class for 7 years. Now I am using acrylics on canvas and paper en plein air whenever possible.
