Thank you Ruthy for your kind comments. It is lovely when someone is kind enough to let you know that they like your work. The pebble picture was produced for an art class that I was tutoring on using watercolour pencils. It is a simple project but can produce some lovely results. Though I draw and paint nearly everyday I never get disheartened, if it goes wrong just start again its only paper!

Dont get disheartened Ruthy. Try Colour pencils they are very controlable. I use dry colour pencil mostly. Even when using an aquarellable pencil I am reluctant to use water with them in case it all goes horribly wrong. Have a look at the members gallery at www.ukcps.co.uk for an idea of what can be achieved with C.P.
