You've captured the dryness of the leaves very well, Shelley. I could almost hear them crackling! Thank you for your comment on my Iris painting. Yes, I love the Susan Harrison Tustain paintings too, though I confess I am not at the level yet where I would even attempt anything as complicated as her paintings!

A lovely painting Shelley, I particularly like the one on the right, but they are all beautiful. I like painting leaves too.The shapes are so interesting once the leave is drying.

You have some wonderful textures there and I like the colours.
