REFLECTIONS IN CANDLELIGHT

You have an amazing hand in watercolour especially the detail you add in the flowers..I liked your still life with laces.. I wonder how you manage to do that in this medium. I love watercolours but am too scared to handle it... Thanks for liking my still life too..

thankyou for all the lovely comments. candles are painted by laying a wash of cad yellow then whilst this is still wet add cad red from the bottom and push up in light strokes and then add a small amount of aliz crimson just at the bottom edge to give the candle some weight. try it out next time you are just playing with your paints.hope this helps.
