Agreed, I use pastel for my dog and cat portraits and most recently for a lamb, this is a lovely pastel drawing of a dog, love the pink tones in his coat and his pink tongue

Yes, the tongue is wonderfully done: a bit strange to home in on one feature like this, but it really does bring your excellent dog to life: everything else about him is great too, of course, but that pink patch of colour conveys health and is just very appealing. Lovely dog: want him!
