Seok this brings back memories having lived in Malaysia for 6 years, they have all sorts of transport and if you want to take a risk this would be one means of getting anywhere. Back to your painting, I like the casual way he is leaning against the trishaw and the splash of red, lovely fresh washes and great detail. Another good painting for your Travelogue gallery.

Another lovely sketch of Cuban life.... when are all these going to be published ?!!!! Well worth it!

Charming little study Seok, the figure is very well observed.

So delicately painted and with such detail, Seok - this is beautiful!

Well painted study concentrating on the essentials and yet telling a story. By the way Seok, thank you for writing to me.

Sounds a fascinating place Seok! I like this little painting, so colourful and the light reflecting up under the canopy.

Another lovely painting Seok!

Beautiful watercolours Seok well done.

Thank you so very much, everyone, for your very kind comments!

A beautiful study, beautifully rendered Seok.

A lovely little painting Seok, it just looks so fresh and the sun shines out of it. Beautiful.

Another superb study Seok

He is so laid back. A really interesting and well executed study. Love it.

Thank you very much, everyone!

This made me smile. It is so laid back, and the lighting is perfect, a great study.

A wonderful little painting Seok! He looks so relaxed while waiting for a customer. I love the coulours too.

Super vignette, Seok. Love the attitude of the body of the taxi driver - I can see that he is waiting for a fare to come along. Lovely work.

Thank you very much, Fred, Satu and Thea!

A super pose and love the use of the strong shadow to illustrate the light. Another lovely vignette.

Thank you very much, Lesley!

bravo Seok!! you are also illustrator!!

Thank you very much, Alain!

Seok this is such light but fine watercolour work. Well done. I,m madly catching up with the gallery after having computor troubles. Best wishes :)

Excellent stuff Seok, you have captured that sense of boredom very well -'where's the next fare?' best Mick

There are all forms of cabs plying their trade in the streets of Havanna, ranging from the fabulous 1950s vintage automobiles to horse carriages to trishaws like this one.
