Nice painting again Seok, but I'm worried about the sloping horizon.

Didn't even notice the sloping horizon until I read Fred's comment. I assume that's your photography. I love the light in this. I can't decide if it's been raining and is brightening up or whether we are in for a storm. I like paintings that make me think.

Fred and Diana, you are right - the horizon is sloping and it's due to my sloppy photography. A rather embarrassing thing, since I always prided myself on being able to photograph better than I can paint! However, in this case, I think I'm almost happy admit that the problem is due to my terrible photography because it's less painful than having to repaint the horizon to correct sloppy painting! William, thank you for very diplomatically ignoring the offending line! And Lesley, I am truly humbled you like this. I felt rather inadequate when I saw that I'd just posted next to the Queen of Boat Paintings!

Beautiful painting Seok Yam, fantastic water and super sky - very moody and atmospheric. I know nothing about the process of oil painting, but this looks like a pretty good one to me.
