Elara and the Seventh Horizon by David Cotton
Elara had felt the cobblestones of Paris beneath her boots, the hum of a bicycle on a country road, and the stride of a horse across open fields. She had tasted the salt of the sea while dancing on the sand and felt the rush of the wind looking out over the world from a high cliff's edge. But this was a place she had never been before, as she looked down the path she realised that every horizon she had crossed from the city to the sea had been leading her toward this moment of perfect, wooded peace.
