Thank you Colleen and Carole for your kind remarks. I went through a stage of only wanting to do tonal drawings in very soft pencil and did quite a few. I had another stage of doing a lot of pen and ink only but I haven't found any to post up. I have stuff stashed in all manner of places around the house. It was quite challenging and fun just working in tones - a good exercise!

Hi Selina havn't seen these ones yet but will be back to have a look it's near tea time and got to get into the kitchen although I could think of better things to do...I'm sending you replies here because I know I can find you...thanks for your remarks on the course work...I've put them into my gallery under the title of Course Work that way you can get a bigger image...these black and whites look fantastic
