My sister recently lost her Sadie. This picture failed her. Our hearts are connected with what is in our imagination and our mind’s eye about the dogs we love. We hold their essence as the pure form of who they are to us. And if that quality is not evoked in us, the picture is not of OUR dog, but just A DOG. This is just a picture of A DOG.
