Too green for the actual scene, or just generally too green? Don't think it is: I have nothing against greening a place up a bit for a painting, if it helps the painting: we've got cameras for l'actualité, after all. And anyway - I like green!

What a lovely comment Michael, I had to think for a minute because I am usually in the Lakes in early July (it will be my 33rd year of doing so on July 8!!!) but I think I climbed Blencathra a few years before. 2014 was a Great Gable year!! Glad it brought back happy memories for you!
