Inspired by some lovely horse paintings on here today, I thought I'd post this, which I did when I was about 15/16, 30 odd years ago. I spent many happy hours painting pictures of horses then! I think I was inspired by Stubbs, in particular, the wonderful 'Whistlejacket' which is still a favourite painting of mine. I never got round to finishing it but I quite like it as it is.
