Lovely and colourful Satu, especially like the figures and those lanterns are lush!

Nice work Satu and good try with the small brush. Dellar is one of my current favourites and I have done two of his workshops and met him at the Wapping Group exhibition early this year.

Brilliant Satu, love the colours you've used. Those lovely orange laterns and the figures in the evening light create a lovely atmospheric painting.

How vibrant and zingy this one is, Satu - wonderfully strong colours and very intricate brushwork as well. You've created such a bustling and colourful atmosphere - really super work.

Thank you very much Debs, Derek, Christine and Thea for your lovely comments!

Wow what colours, I love these complimentary colours Satu. Those lanterns are fabulous.

I'm also learning to use the small brush for my acrylics as well. It's a fascinating process. Your attempt has worked superbly, Satu! And lovely composition and palette to boot!

As usual your use of colour is fantastic. This is out of your comfort zone a little, but is has worked to great effect. I am sure the photo does not do it justice.

Thank you so much Carole, Seok and Gudrun for your encouraging comments!

We had Roger Dellar demonstrating how to paint street scenes at night some weeks ago and he used a very small brush so I thought to give it a go. Strangely enough it was quite fascinating to use a small brush and I very much enjoyed painting the people too. Acrylic painting 45cm x 65cm on canvas.
