Mission accomplished well - touches of Kandinsky in this one.

Full of life, interesting shapes and good colour choice.

Thank you Michael and Louise! Yes Michael, it's a pure Satunsky!

Wow, Satu! Your paintings never fail to inspire - a lovely interplay of shapes and hues. Super combination!

Lively, unique work Satu!

Thank you very much Seok and Sarah for your kind comments!

It reminds me of the front of a turbo prop aeroplane (like a Spitfire). I can see the propeller shape and the fuselage. Probably fanciful but isn't that what abstract art is all about - allowing the viewing to see what they want in the painting? Love the colours and what you have suggested (well to me anyway) with the strong shapes. P.S. I'd call it Spitfire and see if others get what I mean.

Thank you Thea very much for your long comment! It could indeed be a spitfire! Others have suggested a market place, a town centre or a village fete. As you said it's all in the eye and imagination of the viewer. Thank you again!

Somehow missed this Satu, don't know how as it's so eye catching, love it!

It's all been said. Fabulous. I must try and catch up with those programmes. I saw the one with the chap Collinge.

This is the second painting of the three I made in one day. I saw the programme about abstraction in the TV and decided to have a go. They were talking about complementary shapes and strokes in an abstract painting to give it balance. I started with black and left it to dry while I worked with the other two. Next I added the blue and so on. At the end I took a smaller brush and made a couple of thin lines here and there et voilà. Mission accomplished!
