Moon Garden

This palette of colours works wonderfully well, with the bold blue trees set off by the orange tones in the rest of the painting. I like the chalkiness of the colours as this adds a softness to the work.

I have just been watching a program on abstract artists on iplayer and thought I would have a peek at POL. What a pleasure to see this which immediately caught my eye on the front page. I find it fascinating, Satu, and could look at it for ages.

This painting has a lovely ethereal feel to to it Satu and the title describes it exactly. I love what I imagine to be the moon peeping out from behind the clouds and the harmonious blocks of colour and shapes.
