Thanks so much Skylar, Tao and Adele. This is much softer and more blended than my usual style due to the poor quality of the reference images but I think that's actually benefited this painting or at least I hope it has.

Sadly this beautiful German Shepherd is no longer with us. Her owners commissioned this posthumous portrait as a tribute to give them a living memory of all the happy ears she gave them. I loved painting the tones in her fur. She seemed to glow.
