Lovely, so delicate and fragile. I am confused by the fingers though, looked at this last night and again this morning, but I still can't decide what is happening with the shoulder and the first and second finger.

Jennifer you are dead right.... this is a work in progress and the shadow area between these 2 fingers needs to be defined....

I really like this study. Can I suggest look carefully at that right hand so as to avoid giving the model six fingers. There is an example in an advertisement for Hornby Dublo model railways which is forever known as the six fingered advert as Dad is mistakenly shown with six fingers. oops ! I do appreciate this work is not yet completed.
