Thank you all for your lovely comments , it is much appreciated....I haven't painted in watercolours for a very long time. This is a painting of my Granddaughter......and the first painting of a child for me...so I chose this medium for its softness, hoping that I would be able to capture the childish innocence and gentleness I was after.
