This is a great atmospheric painting. I like the light in the centre of the picture, and the way you've painted the clouds and the reflections.

Hi Sam, thanks for your comment on my old sketch. I haven't been here recently, either. Like you, maybe it's time for some new scans. I like this image very much - it reminds me of some cycling/sketching trips in north Norfolk. I love the sky and the atmosphere it produces. And the reflections are very nicely done. It has a pleasing feeling of depth, too. Well done! Now keep it up and waste plenty of paint! I'm afraid the wet weather has kept me glued to the camera rather than the paints, but it's time I changed medium. All the best.
