I like it. I feel that the black and the white could be toned down a bit, have you tried mixing colours to make a dark colour and leaving the paper blank instead of using white. I do like the subject though and it's well painted.

This must be popular for practicing perspective Ruth, I tried it many years ago. Not a good as yours :)
