I'll be shouting for them Ruth, remembering several happy afternoons at Ayresome Park with my uncle. Lovely illustrative memento of the new place.

Nothing wrong with this painting Ruth. I collected art instruction books for years but they always seemed so full of rules and regulations and I never had the courage to have a go. Then my daughter asked when I was going to stop looking and start doing. Went on an oil painting taster course, and that was it. I had to be shown. Now if I want to see how things are done I go on You Tube. And I discovered something very important too - there are no rules!!! Just enjoy.
