Since moving to the Trent Valley area I have often visited the lovely market town of Southwell with its beautiful and historic Minster. This is probably the first painting of many, since it changes so much with the light and the season. I found the architecture quite a challenge and did a detailed line drawing before I completed the final painting in acrylic from my own photos.
