Superbly drawn Rosalind - not an easy subject.

Agreed, beautiful drawing Rosalind, how long did this take you? Lovely details, great stippling and just the right amount of hatching in your shadows, a look of a vignette to how you have captured the complete scene within the plain paper edging around it

A beautifully detailed drawing, a fine piece of art.

Thank you all, it took about a day and a half, off and on. I usually leave it for a while between bits, or I make mistakes. I tried using a magnetic angle finder this time for the roofs, but found it was a bit of a nuisance, so went back to squinting with a pencil!

You Squint well, beautiful drawing.

Great drawing. I like a fine pen as well and you have used it to very good effect in this lovely work.

Eaten there a few times. Beaconfield Old Town is a lovely spot to stop at if you're ever passing. Like your drawing very much.
