Fallen tree
Painted on Saunders Waterford Rough, using only three colours: rose madder genuine, cobalt blue and Aureolin. I wet the paper, dropped the colour mixes on, and then covered in Clingfilm, which I scrunched and pulled. When it dried and I removed the film, I worked out a scene from the lines and shapes remaining. Then I battled with it for a week! As they are not staining colours, I was able to remove bits I wasn't happy with, with a piece of magic eraser (the Tesco version of). Not sure if it was worth all the time and effort...
