This was painted from a photograph I took at Haydn's Pool in the Northwich Woodlands late one afternoon. The birds were feeding with the sun behind them as my younger son Sam and I reached the hide overlooking the pool. It means a lot to me as he had only recently returned from Australia after 3 years spent cycling across Europe, North Africa and Asia before ending up in Western Australia at a place called Coral Bay.

Four super postings Ron. The reflections and almost stylised look of these birds appealed to me.
