Presumably gone now? So many of these once grand establishments have disappeared - a great pity, but I suppose that's "progress".

A bland block of flats has replaced this iconic hotel which was in good condition.

In its heyday it was a symbol of the town ,the largest in the country, dominating the seafront, and a classic example of Edwardian architecture. acrylic on canvas 20" x 16"
