This is a wonderful painting, making the extraordinary out of the ordinary. I like the way you shadowed the stripes into shapes which are somewhat repeated by the shadow on the right. Your background is effective and not one bit boring with those subtle, soft greying of colors with no sharp delineation of a background line. Brilliant.
