Sounds familiar....and fair😁. Your style is so distinctive....this is very interesting to examine, the shades in the bricks and stonework, the glass, the brushwork. And you've captured the sense of a home, with all those tasks we make for ourselves - and enjoy.

Our division of labour in the garden is quite specific...Bas does all the pretty things..planning, planting, pruning and picking...my role is more basic..weeding, tidying tools and everything else of a more mundane nature....basically, labouring. In return for all of my efforts, I get to eat! Don't you just love greenfly on salad? No replies please...purely rhetorical! Oil on canvas 56x30cm
