Quirky and beautifully painted Roger.

They look juicy. Were they? As Pat says, nice and quirky.

Eat? Can't eat these...they've been in and out of the fridge for weeks...one more to go...as they are...rapidly. Thank you for comments...very pleased.

Bath has an amazing street fruit and veg market...trade is brisk, banter is what one would expect and prices service are excellent...Waitrose, take note! I'd never seen this type of tomato before and the temptation was too great. Sculpted or painted...ideal! Grown, according to one market trader, in a part of the south west called Crinkley Bottom..can't find it on Google Earth and don't know why he laughed....am I missing something? Thank you to Robert Jones for his comment on last night's upload..very kind! Oil on canvas...40x30cm better viewded large
