Thank you all. The view itself is so beautiful, with so many subtle colours, that it can mislead me into into painting too much. This one is better for being simpler.

16" x 20" oil on canvas painted from two plein air watercolours. I did the last oil version of this subject almost exactly 2 years ago. This time I tried to use a slightly more limited palette. Progress was quick and I'm happier with the freshness of this version.
