12" x 16" pastel for some wonderful friends who liked a birthday card I sent in January. Painted in the sun in my back yard this afternoon whilst thinking of this idyllic beach in Vatersay with its view to the uninhabited island of Sandray. Painted outdoors but doesn't qualify for the accepted use of "en plein air!"
